"Thank you for being a friend (for 42 years)": Islington Tribune meets Dugan Cummings, London Friend's longest-standing volunteer
To mark our 50th anniversary and celebrate the contributions of our dedicated team of volunteers, Islington Tribune spoke to our longest-standing volunteer Dugan Cummings.
Dugan joined London Friend 42 years ago in 1980, when our charity was still based at its old headquarters in Upper Street, Islington.
His immense contributions span over 4 decades from working on our helpline and being our chair, when he oversaw the moving to London Friend's current premises at 86 Caledonian Road, to supporting our finance team with day to day banking.
