Social & Support Groups
Would you like to make friends, or just meet with other LGBT people in a safe, supportive environment?
Our social and support groups provide a safe space away from the scene for LGBT people to come together to discuss a range of issues affecting them, including coming out and questions about sexuality.
All of our groups are run by trained volunteers at our offices, 86 Caledonian Road, London N19DN (see map below).
FOR WOMEN
CHANGES
WHAT: Changes is a discussion and support-oriented coming out group for women of all ages and backgrounds. It’s a space to talk about coming out, sexuality, being lesbian or bisexual and other issues.
WHEN: Every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, 7pm to 9pm
LBT WOMEN SOCIAL
WHAT: LBT Women's Social is a social women's group for women of all ages and backgrounds. It’s a space for a variety activities: Games, arts and crafts, trips etc.
WHEN: Every 2nd Saturday of the month, 1pm to 3.30pm
FOR MEN
TURNING POINT
WHAT: Turning Point is a discussion and support-oriented coming out group for gay or bisexual men of all ages and backgrounds with discussions about coming out, sexuality, being gay or bisexual and other issues.
WHEN: Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, 7pm to 9.30pm
MATTRIX
WHAT: Mattrix is a non-scene social group for gay and bisexual men from all backgrounds. Trips, guest speakers, games nights and video evenings are some of our activities.
WHEN: Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, 7pm to 9pm
FOR TRANS AND NON-BINARY
T ON TUESDAY
WHAT: T on Tuesday is a trans & non-binary social group. The group is open to all trans, non-binary people and people exploring their gender. FOR INTERSEX
INTERWEDNESDAY
WHAT: InterWednesday is peer support group for everyone who is intersex.
WHEN: Every 1st Wednesday of the month, 7pm to 9pm
FOR ALL LGBT
LGBT+ DROP-IN
WHAT: The Friday Drop-In is a safe, friendly space open to all LGBT people with free refreshments.
WHEN: Every Friday, 11am to 1pm
PINK INK
WHAT: Pink Ink is a creative writing group open to all LGBT people.
WHEN: Every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, 7pm to 9pm
OPENING DOORS DROP-IN
WHAT: Opening Doors is a group for all LGBT people aged 50 and over in partnership with Opening Doors London.
WHEN: Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, 12.30pm to 2.30pm
ENGLISH CLASSES
WHAT: Our weekly English class is designed for anyone identifying as LGBT who wants to improve their spoken English. All levels welcome.
WHEN: Every Wednesday, 11am to 1pm
