Antidote drop-ins

Antidote Services

Antidote helpline: Contact us to discuss your drug or alcohol issues on 020 7833 1674 (10am-6pm, Monday to Friday). Ask for someone from the Antidote Team.

Though drugs and alcohol may be fun and manageable for some, others may find it dominating their social life or leading to chaotic sexual encounters, isolation, unmanageable comedowns, wasting money, missing work or upsetting family or partners.

We offer harm-reduction information and provide face-to-face support to help you make informed choices about your drug or alcohol use. We can work with you whether you want to stop completely, or achieve greater control over your use.

We work in partnership with the NHS and other services to make referrals for detox or rehab, or to sexual health, mental health, or other specialised support. Accessing support is easy. Listed below are the details of how you can meet with our team. All of our services are free and your confidentiality is paramount.

Drop-In: Monday @London Friend

Each Monday we host a walk-in assessment service at our offices. You do not need an appointment. Come along if you would like a referral into structured support, or just want a confidential and informal chat about your drug or alcohol concerns. Women workers are available to see you at the Monday clinic. Acupuncture available. For your very first visit please arrive an hour before closing in order to have time to complete the assessment together with one of the keyworkers.
When: Every Monday, 11am to 1pm
Where: London Friend, 86 Caledonian Road, London N19DN

Workshop: Chemcheck on Tuesday @Burrell Street

Antidote runs a group work programme for gay and bisexual men involved in chemsex in partnership with Burrell Street several times a year. For more information and to make a referral click here. Please note this is not a walk-in service, please make a referral.

Women workers are available to see you at the drop in. For your very first visit please arrive an hour before closing in order to have time to complete the assessment together with one of the keyworkers.

CNWL Club Drug Clinic

The Club Drug Clinic (CDC) offers advice & support, psychiatric assessments, key working sessions, therapy options, mindfulness, Blood Borne Virus (BBV) vaccinations and more for people living in the London Boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham and Westminster. Antidote works in partnership with the clinic supporting LGBT service users.

You can book an appointment by emailing clubdrugclinic.cnwl@nhs.net or by calling 020 3317 3000. The clinic is at 69 Warwick Road, Earls Court, London SW5 9HB.

Drop-in: Axis Wednesday @Caldecot Centre

The Axis Clinic has been created to provide support mostly for men who have sex with men (MSM). Support is offered through a range of interventions aimed at supporting clients to achieve more positive outcomes in relation to HIV prevention and management, sexual health, mental health and substance (mis)use. The clinic is particularly targeted towards clients engaging in drug & sex linked behaviour or chemsex.

The Axis Clinic is predominantly a drop in service for clients who would like advice, information and support around chemsex. Axis will also run alongside the existing PrEP clinic and clients booking sexual health and PrEP appointments will also have the option to book in for chemsex advice and support.

When: Every Wednesday, 4pm to 7pm
Where: Caldecot Centre, 15-22 Caldecot Road, Camberwell, London SE59RS
