{"id":4048,"date":"2016-06-16T14:17:00","date_gmt":"2016-06-16T13:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/londonfriend.org.uk\/?page_id=4048"},"modified":"2016-06-16T14:22:53","modified_gmt":"2016-06-16T13:22:53","slug":"national-lgb-t-partnership","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/londonfriend.org.uk\/2012\/funders-and-supporters__trashed\/national-lgb-t-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"National LGB &#038; T Partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">The National LGB &amp; T Partnership<\/span><\/h1>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4049 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/londonfriend.org.uk\/2012\/2012\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/National-LGBT-Partnership.png\" alt=\"National LGBT Partnership\" width=\"131\" height=\"56\" \/>London Friend\u00a0is proud to be part of <a href=\"https:\/\/nationallgbtpartnership.org\/\">The National LGB&amp;T Partnership<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Partnership was established in early 2010, in order reduce health inequalities and challenge homophobia, biphobia and transphobia within public services.\u00a0 As of April 2016, the Partnership combines the expertise of <a href=\"https:\/\/nationallgbtpartnership.org\/about-the-partners\/\">twelve\u00a0key LGB&amp;T organisations<\/a> across England. Further organisations (both LGBT and non-LGBT) are invited to contribute to seminars and project work, based upon their particular skills and expertise.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Partnership is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.voluntarysectorhealthcare.org.uk\/strategic-partnership-programme\/\">Sector Strategic Partner<\/a> of the Department of Health, Public Health England and NHS England, collaborating with a wide range of organisations.\u00a0 It works to successfully influence the policy, practice and actions of Government, statutory bodies, and others.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, the Partnership commissioned a strategic review, undertaking consultation with both external and internal stakeholders.
